Application Guidelines

African American undergraduate and graduate students in the biological sciences are encouraged to apply.

Submission of official documentation of the meeting, seminar or conference to which the student wishes to travel is required.  In the case of a student traveling to do research, a statement must be submitted from the senior researcher under whom the student will be studying.

A completed application packet, including application form, recommendations and other supporting materials as required on the application form must be submitted and postmarked by May 1st or December 1st of each year. Application packet for the Annual Biomedical Research Conference for Minority Students must be submitted and postmarked by September 14th of each year:

Applications will not be considered without the completed application form and supporting documents.
